NEET PG 2025 Exam Deferred: NBEMS to Release Fresh Schedule Following Supreme Court Ruling
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 has officially been postponed, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced today. The examination, which was earlier scheduled to take place on June 15, 2025, will now be held at a later date to ensure all candidates appear in a single shift, following a recent Supreme Court directive.

In a public notice issued by the NBEMS, the board clarified that this decision has been taken to facilitate the creation of additional exam centres. This will enable a uniform testing experience for all candidates, addressing fairness concerns raised through a legal petition.
“The revised date for NEET PG 2025 will be announced shortly. Candidates are advised to monitor the official NBEMS website for the latest updates,” the statement read.
🔍 Why the NEET PG 2025 Exam Was Postponed:
The postponement follows a Supreme Court ruling directing NBEMS to conduct the NEET PG 2025 examination in a single shift using a common question paper. This decision comes after challenges were raised against the initial plan, which involved conducting the exam in two shifts—a move that was seen as potentially unfair.
