After Being Thrown Out by Lalu, Tej Pratap Faces Fire From Estranged Wife Aishwarya Rai: ‘What Has Lalu Ever Done for Me?’ — Family Feud Explodes, RJD in Embarrassment

“Scripted Drama Before Elections”: Aishwarya Rai Explodes at Lalu Yadav Family, Calls Tej Pratap’s Expulsion a Political Gimmick
Patna: In a fiery outburst that’s sent shockwaves through Bihar’s political circles, Tej Pratap Yadav’s estranged wife Aishwarya Rai has accused the entire Lalu Yadav family of staging a “pre-planned drama” by expelling Tej Pratap from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) — not for justice, but to control damage ahead of elections.
A day after Tej Pratap was ousted from the party by his father and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav over a controversial photo with a woman, Aishwarya hit back hard. “Laluji, what have you ever done for me? Did you ever speak for me when I was being torn apart by your son and your silence?” she said, visibly emotional.
Rai accused the Yadav clan — including Tejashwi Yadav and Rabri Devi — of turning a blind eye to her years of mental and emotional abuse. “Now they want to look clean by pretending to take action? This is not justice — this is election-time image management,” she alleged.
“This Was All Scripted”
Calling the expulsion “a whitewash,” Aishwarya claimed, “This entire charade was planned. The family knew the story would leak — they just acted swiftly to make it look like they care about morality and values. In reality, it’s all about saving votes.”
Aishwarya also revealed that much of her trauma — including news of her own divorce — reached her via the media, not the family. “For seven years, I’ve been mentally tortured. Every time I tried to raise my voice, the Yadavs crushed it using their power and political clout,” she said.
She further accused the family of manipulating narratives and shielding Tej Pratap’s misdeeds to protect the party’s image, warning that the truth must come out no matter how uncomfortable it is.
“They Tried to Destroy Me”
“They even questioned my character. And now they want the public to believe they’re taking the moral high ground? This isn’t justice — it’s hypocrisy,” Aishwarya said, adding that she won’t back down anymore.
As this public confrontation unfolds, it’s clear that what began as a personal dispute has turned into a political storm — one that could have major ramifications for the RJD in the upcoming elections.
