Telangana Politics Take a Dramatic Turn Amid Rumors of Kavitha Launching New Party

Telangana politics have once again taken a dramatic and intriguing turn. Amid growing internal dissatisfaction within the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), particularly surrounding the actions and attitude of MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, recent remarks by BJP MP Raghunandan Rao have stirred fresh political controversy.
Speaking to the media during his recent visit to Tufran, MP Raghunandan Rao made sensational claims that have become a hot topic across the state. He stated, “On June 2, Kavitha will announce her own political party. Like YS Sharmila, she is planning to launch a state-wide padayatra (foot march) to demonstrate her political strength.”
These comments have sparked widespread debate: Are they merely speculative political rhetoric, or do they hint at deeper developments within the BRS? The answer remains to be seen.
Rao didn’t hold back in his criticism of both Kavitha and her father, BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). He alleged that KCR himself is behind the creation of a new party by Kavitha. “Why would a father and daughter need mediators between them? Is this just a new sketch—launching a party from within the house, then going out and deceiving people with padayatras?” he questioned.
Adding fuel to the fire, he recalled past instances where Kavitha had accused her father of being surrounded by “evil influences.” Now, political analysts are left wondering: Why is she suddenly seeking to establish a new party as an alternative to the very one founded by her father?
As speculation mounts, the political landscape in Telangana seems poised for further upheaval in the coming weeks.
