Asked the question on everyone’s mind — “Will you return next season?” — Dhoni responded in true Dhoni fashion: calm, cryptic, and composed. The 43-year-old did not confirm his retirement, nor did he promise a return. He added, “I have time. I’ll head back to Ranchi, enjoy a few bike rides — it’s been a while since I was home. After a couple of months, I’ll make the decision.”
While Dhoni clarified that he’s neither retiring yet nor confirming a comeback, fans clung to one line that captured the essence of his legacy:
“I’m not saying I’m done. And I’m not saying I’m coming back either. I have the luxury of time.”
